The pair had also collaborated on the spin-off show Love Island: Aftersun with Maya Jama, garnering significant viewership and even a nomination for best video podcast.

In a recent conversation with The Sun, Amy revealed that her new family commitments were behind her decision to leave. Now a mum to two young children, Amy described the difficulty of balancing her late-night work schedule with her responsibilities at home. "Driving three hours every night was manageable with one child," she explained, "but with a new baby, it was becoming too demanding."

The late hours, which often saw her leaving home at 7 PM and returning at 2 AM, compounded the challenges of securing childcare for a newborn and a toddler. Amy noted, "It's a lot for my husband to handle alone, and my priority needed to be my family."

A Lasting Friendship

Despite leaving the show, Amy and Indiyah's friendship has only grown stronger. Describing Indiyah as "a little sister," Amy expressed gratitude for the bond they developed over their time working together. The duo emphasised in their joint statement that their departure came without any behind-the-scenes drama, only fond memories and mutual respect.
