Scott van-der-Sluis Slammed by Exes on Love Island All Stars

Former Love Island favourite Scott van-der-Sluis is back on screens, but not all viewers are thrilled with his presence. His ex-girlfriend, Abi Moores, has publicly criticised him, labelling him as selfish and rude.

Twenty-five-year-old Scott van-der-Sluis, known for his stint on Love Island's tenth series in 2023, has returned to television for the Love Island All Stars edition, seeking a second chance at romance. Currently, he is coupled with Leanne Amaning, a fellow former contestant from the show's sixth series. However, their budding relationship is under scrutiny as past drama unfolds on-screen.

Scott's ex, Abi Moores, recently shared her experience dating him during their time in the villa in 2023. They parted ways just before exiting the show, and Abi candidly expressed her disbelief in his quest for love, arguing that Scott's true intentions may revolve more around gaining fame and signing lucrative brand deals, such as with fashion retailer Boohoo Man, rather than finding a genuine connection.

Speaking out about her experiences, Abi claimed, "There are elements of people’s personalities that can seem nasty, but when it comes to Scott, he's quite selfish. Having appeared in multiple TV shows, I think it's just another career move for him, not a true search for love."

During Scott’s previous Love Island experience, Abi noted his behaviour could often be isolating and rude, affecting not only fellow contestants but also the behind-the-scenes staff. "He often kept to himself, taking meals to his room rather than sharing time with us," Abi recounted.

Despite her criticisms, Abi acknowledged Scott's role in bringing entertainment value to the show, suggesting that his actions might be part of the reality TV persona. She did, however, express her concerns about individuals who don't present genuine intentions, highlighting the emotional toll on those seeking sincere relationships.

As for Abi’s personal life, she has moved on since Love Island and is happily engaged to Nathan Campbell from the reality series Married At First Sight. Reflecting on her current happiness, Abi looks back on her time with Scott and the Love Island experience but remains wary of the motives within reality TV.

As Scott navigates his current triangle involving Millie Court and Jess Harding, Love Island fans are left to ponder the balance between genuine romantic pursuits and the lure of fame within the villa. Abi's comments serve as a reminder of the complexities behind the glamorous facade of reality TV dating shows.
